Message from the Principal
Welcome Wildcat Families to the 24-25 School Year,
It’s true… the summer is almost over and school will be starting very soon! Summer is a wonderful time to let academic learning marinate while finding joy in our gorgeous outdoors exploring our mountains, rivers and lakes. We hope you were able to take advantage of these types of adventures.
We, at HOPE school, are excited to begin another fantastic school year providing learning for ALL our students. We are also so excited to see how much our returning students have grown, and hear about their summer explorations and shenanigans. We can’t wait to welcome ALL and meet our kindergarteners and new students.
If you are joining our learning community for the first time, here is a little bit about us. Our school is relatively small where we have one teacher per grade level in grades Kindergarten,1st, 2nd, 3rd and then we utilize Multi-Age classrooms for our 4th, 5th and 6th grade students (three grades and two classroom teachers). Our students participate in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grant again this year. This means that twice a week in the afternoon a fresh fruit or vegetable is provided for ALL to students. Yum!
We work together to create and maintain a family atmosphere for all our families, returning and new! Hope School is a School-wide Title I School and we encourage families to learn together in fun and engaging ways. More information will be shared down the road regarding our Family Engagement Nights (Fall and Spring). These events are learning opportunities for the whole family.
Our parent-teacher organization is called P.I.E. (Partners in Education, formerly known as PTO). They help us plan activities, provide support and volunteers for our school, as well as raise funds for our school needs. Meeting dates and times will be announced in the weekly Friday Bulletin which is emailed to all families. Also, please follow our Facebook page Hope Wildcats and on Instagram HopeElementaryWildcats.
We look forward to seeing you at our Open House on Wednesday, August 28, 4pm to 6pm. You can come anytime between these hours to meet your child/ren's teacher and drop class supplies (see Quick Links - supplies). If you have not completed your child/ren's registration the links are below, or on the District Website (click here), or call our school office, 208-255-7232.

See Tell Now
Hope School and all our district’s schools will use the See Tell Now alert system to report any kind of anonymous tip regarding safety, harassment, bullying, etc. This can be accessed at: https://seetellnow.org/ or by calling 888-593-2835
School Meal Program
It is very important for our families to fill out a free/reduced meal form either online or via a paper form that will be sent home the first day of school. This program could possibly help offset your cost for eating meals at school, and also help provide funding to our school for important programs such as reading and math support.
